Mutual Confidentially Agreement and
Terms and Conditions
NEETLENS including its affiliates and the party who is engaged in using NEETLENS website and business relationship regarding the services. Each party (“Disclosing Party”) anticipates providing to the other party (“Receiving Party”) certain related confidential information.
All information in NEETLENS website will be presumed to be confidential. The term “Proprietary Information” shall include all such confidential information, the fact of communication thereof, as well as the existence and terms of this Agreement, any resulting Agreement and any information used from the NEETLENS. All Proprietary Information remains the property of the NEETLENS.
The parties agree to submit any dispute under this Agreement for non-binding mediation, and to conclude such mediation prior to the commencement of a lawsuit (except for an action for equitable relief to prevent irreparable harm). The mediation shall be conducted in English in accordance with the Model Procedures for Mediation of Business Disputes applicable in Chennai, India. The fees of the mediator shall be shared equally by the parties.
Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the terms upon which you are permitted to access and use NEETLENS (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using NEETLENS in any manner, you signify your unconditional acceptance of these Terms and agree to be bound by them.
- Scope of Services
NEETLENS is an educational platform offering information pertaining to NEET PG, including, without limitation:
- Historical/previous counselling data;
- Information relating to medical colleges and institutions;
- Cut-off trend analysis;
- Rank prediction tools;
- General counselling guidance; and
- Other educational content.
All information, tools, and content made available on the Platform are provided solely for informational and educational purposes and shall not, under any circumstances, be construed as official counselling advice or as a substitute for guidance issued by the competent counselling authorities.
- Eligibility and Representations
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that:
(a) you possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under applicable Indian law;
(b) all information furnished by you is true, accurate, and complete; and
(c) you shall not impersonate any other person or entity, nor misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- User Registration and Account
Users may be required to register on the Platform through mobile number verification via One-Time Password (OTP) model. You shall be solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities undertaken through your account, whether or not authorised by you.
- Accuracy of Information
While NEETLENS undertakes reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of the information published on the Platform, it does not warrant, guarantee, or represent that any counselling data, cut-offs, seat matrices, predictions, or other information is complete, error-free, or up to date. Users are strongly advised to independently verify all material information from the relevant official authorities prior to acting upon it or making any decision in reliance thereon.
- Acceptable Use
Users shall not, and shall not permit any third party to:
(a) attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, its systems, or related networks;
(b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform;
(c) employ automated bots, crawlers, or scraping tools to extract data from the Platform;
(d) upload, transmit, or introduce any virus, malware, or other malicious code;
(e) interfere with or disrupt the functioning, security, or integrity of the Platform;
(f) misrepresent their identity in connection with use of the Platform; or
(g) use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorised purpose.
- Collection and Sharing of Data
By using NEETLENS, you acknowledge and consent to the collection and processing of your personal information in the manner set out in our Privacy Policy. NEETLENS does not sell personal information to third parties. However, personal information may be shared with authorised third-party service providers, educational institutions, financial partners, scholarship providers, career guidance partners, analytics providers, marketing partners, and other business associates, where such disclosure is reasonably necessary to (i) render the services offered on the Platform, (ii) enhance user experience, (iii) communicate relevant opportunities to users, (iv) conduct analytics, or (v) comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations.
- Third-Party Services
The Platform may incorporate or link to services provided by third parties, including but not limited to payment gateways, OTP service providers, analytics tools, advertising networks, and communication platforms. Such third-party services shall be governed exclusively by the respective terms of service and privacy policies of such providers, and NEETLENS shall bear no responsibility or liability in connection therewith.
- Disclaimer of Affiliation
NEETLENS is an independent, privately operated educational platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of below or any other authorities:
- the National Medical Commission (NMC);
- the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC);
- any State Counselling Authority; or
- the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).
Users acknowledge that the official decisions, notifications, and communications issued by the aforementioned authorities shall prevail over any information provided on this Platform in all respects.
- Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, NEETLENS, its promoters, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising out of or in connection with:
(a) admission outcomes or counselling decisions;
(b) inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in data;
(c) interruption or unavailability of the Platform;
(d) technical failures or malfunctions; or
(e) loss of profit, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages,
whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise, and irrespective of whether NEETLENS has been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage.
- Suspension and Termination
NEETLENS reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to suspend or terminate a user’s access to the Platform in the event of a breach of these Terms, or where such action is required under applicable law.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
- Amendment of Terms
NEETLENS reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these Terms at any time, at its sole discretion. Any such revised Terms shall be published on this page and shall take effect from the date of such publication. Continued access to or use of the Platform following any such modification shall constitute your deemed acceptance of the revised Terms.
- Intellectual Property
All content available on NEETLENS, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, trademarks, data compilations, cut-off analyses, rank prediction algorithms, software, design elements, and the overall look and feel of the Platform (“Platform Content”), is the exclusive property of NEETLENS or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, NEETLENS grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform Content solely for your personal, non-commercial, educational use.
You shall not, without the prior written consent of NEETLENS:
(a) reproduce, copy, distribute, publish, or publicly display any Platform Content;
(b) modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Platform Content;
(c) use any Platform Content for commercial purposes, including resale, redistribution, or incorporation into any competing product or service;
(d) remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice appearing on the Platform; or
(e) use the name “NEETLENS,” its logo, or any associated branding without authorisation.
Any unauthorised use of the Platform Content shall constitute an infringement of NEETLENS’s intellectual property rights and may result in suspension of access under Clause 10 (Suspension and Termination), in addition to any other legal remedies available to NEETLENS under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as transferring or assigning any intellectual property rights in the Platform Content to the user.
NEETLens – Privacy Policy
NEETLens (“NEETLens”, “Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who access or use its website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). This Privacy Policy is published in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and other applicable law in India.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, process, disclose, and protect personal data of users (“you”, “your”, or “Data Principal”) who access the Platform. By accessing or using NEETLens, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in this Policy. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw such consent at any time, subject to Clause 8 below.

We will not process your personal data for any purpose other than those disclosed in this Policy, unless we obtain your fresh consent or such processing is otherwise permitted by law.

NEETLens does not sell your personal data to any third party.

Any such disclosure shall be made only for lawful purposes and shall be governed by contractual obligations requiring the recipient to maintain reasonable security safeguards and to use the data solely for the specified purpose.

We cannot guarantee absolute security but will act promptly, and in accordance with applicable law, in the event of a data breach that affects you.
- Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as is reasonably necessary to:
- Provide our services to you
- Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, or statutory obligations
- Resolve disputes
- Enforce our agreements
- Improve our services
Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, or upon withdrawal of consent (where consent is the sole basis for processing and no other legal ground subsists), we will delete or anonymise your personal data, unless continued retention is required or permitted under applicable law.
- Your Rights as a Data Principal
Subject to applicable law, including the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Correct, complete, or update inaccurate or incomplete personal data
- Erase personal data that is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected
- Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to such withdrawal
- Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity
- Register a grievance regarding the processing of your personal data
Certain requests may be limited or refused where retention or processing is mandated by law, or where the request pertains to information that has already been anonymised or aggregated. To exercise any of the above rights, you may contact our Grievance Officer using the details in Clause 12.
- Withdrawal of Consent
Where our processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you may withdraw such consent at any time by writing to our Grievance Officer. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on such consent before its withdrawal. Please note that withdrawal of consent may result in our inability to continue providing certain services to you.
- Links to Third-Party Websites
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by NEETLens. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of such external websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party website you visit.
- Children’s Privacy
NEETLens is intended for use by individuals aged 18 years and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data of a child without verifiable parental or guardian consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete such data promptly.
- Cross-Border Transfer of Personal Data
Where necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, your personal data may be processed, stored, or transferred to servers or service providers located outside India. Any such transfer shall be undertaken in accordance with the DPDP Act and other applicable law, including any notification issued by the Central Government restricting transfer to specific countries or territories.

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the rules made thereunder, and the DPDP Act, we have appointed a Grievance Officer to address your queries, concerns, or complaints regarding this Privacy Policy or the processing of your personal data.

- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Vellore, Tamil Nadushall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Policy.
